The Mareeba Shire Council retrospectively approved the ‘rural dam’ on Wednesday, 20 July 2016.

KUR-Cow Pty Ltd, the ‘lawfully established grazing operations’ was not registered until after the dam was approved. 

There are no allocated hectares for KUR-Cow ‘lawfully established grazing operations’ on the KUR-World Master Plan which is packed to the rafters with urban residential subdivision blocks and fluffy ‘eco-resort’.
