• from emmaline – I’ve been inspired by the friends of the Farmers emails/newsletters you’ve put out. I’ve dug out an old song about Mother Nature and protecting seeds. I hope to play and be involved with Seed Savers & Sustainability Alliance FNQ movement & events etc. I want to record this song and another about our creatures called Outside Orchestra

  • (the event) will have changed people’s lives, l would rather share with one who wants to know rather than a 100 who are either way…

  • The current format and venues were really good, except for sound interference at Brandemarti’s.  I loved that we were actually at a REAL FARM!!!.

  • Great work in what you have done.
  • It would be great if next year (hopefully you will do this again), if you can get a grant for a person to film it professionally with sound microphone and all..  i suspect this is the video with the most sound interference as the the forklift was there, however i was surprised to hear so much.

  • Thank you your energy and effort in all you did for the Convergence!

  • A brilliant positive event. I got a lot out of it at a time I was looking for some answers.

  • Yes and the newsletter for Seedsavers would be grand.

Thank you again for your organisation

    Best to you.

  • …really enjoyed the event…had to leave and had other things to do…feedback was that the days were too long and possibly it could have been one day less…did really enjoy it though and feel…it was very valuable…a supporter of you and what you do…planning to be the next seed savers event

  • I really hope it can be an annual event for a few years till people just establish their own networks and the newly converted farmers start being mentors for other farmers…i felt there was so much lovely connection established – your presence as MC /facilitator and the fact that you knew so much about the people involved made it so much more of a memorable and touching gathering…was really struck by how you knew what to do when you asked Michael Alba to sing…Stirring the biodynamic brew-pot was also an amazing experience – the way we had a go and then the man kept doing it on his own and his amazing experience with it…

  • It was a great event honouring the practical and our spiritual selves and i felt this was a great way to work alongside farmers who are converting their land to sustainable ag.  I would have loved to see the other speakers that couldn’t come..  as it was, it was a very full and fulfilling schedule.

  • I put some congratulatory  comments about the Convergence on the facebook page for the FNQ sustainability alliance

  • i think (heath’s) wonderful and enjoyed his company at the convergence

  • Thank you so much for your passion for supporting local farmers and all the info you sent down

  • great event, it needs to be promoted more thoroughly

  • thanks for this event

  • better marketing

  • If there is any chance you can include our Logo on the PROGRAM of info to say that we are supporting the event that would be fabulous as it is so aligned to our values.

  • suggestion : – many more shared information days

  • suggestion : – more abriculture – aboriginal input

  • suggestion : – building more places to share/sell our produce

  • make it mainstream

  • i was so moved and inspired by this event i went and bought myself a farm to start this regeneration process myself…

A brilliant positive event.I got a lot out of it at a time I was looking for some answers.

the ‘friends of the farmers’ regenerative agriculture convergence is an opportunity for farmers, market-gardeners, growers, educators, regenerative agriculture service providers, local food-vendors, restaurateurs, and other friends of farmers to come together and converge experiential knowledge with interconnecting the various ways our food-growers can be supported to step further toward restoring our soils and wider environment, while providing higher-nutritional-value food into the future generations.
